2026年5月16日，阳光明媚的上午，一群热爱中文的青少年齐聚阿德莱德动物园，共同迎来第十九届南澳 “汉语桥” 12–18 岁中学组比赛决赛展演。
On the bright and sunny morning of 16 May 2026, a group of young students passionate about the Chinese language gathered at Adelaide Zoo to celebrate the Final Showcase of the 19th South Australia “Chinese Bridge” Competition for Secondary School Students aged 12–18.
这是南澳首次举办中学组汉语桥赛事，来自多所学校的6组选手一路过关斩将，站上决赛舞台。
This is the first time South Australia has hosted the Chinese Bridge competition for secondary school students. Six groups of contestants from multiple schools advanced through the rounds to stand on the final stage.
孩子们用流利中文与精彩才艺，绽放属于青春的语言光彩。
本次活动由中外语言交流合作中心、中国驻阿德莱德总领事馆、澳中文化交流协会联合举办。
重量级评委与嘉宾云集现场，为孩子们加油鼓劲、专业评审，共同见证中文学习的高光时刻！
The students showcased the brilliance of youth through their fluent Chinese and impressive talents.
This event was jointly organised by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation, the Chinese Consulate-General in Adelaide, and the Australia-China Cultural Promotion Association.
Distinguished judges and guests gathered at the venue to encourage the students, provide professional evaluations, and witness these shining moments of Chinese language learning together.
经过现场抽签，第一组登台的小朋友是来自Prince Alfred College的Sammy Rayner，带来励志故事《我要当新愚公》，展现勇气与担当，更现场制作传统美食龙须糖，巧手匠心，让大家近距离感受中华非遗魅力。
After the live draw, the first contestant to take the stage was Sammy Rayner from Prince Alfred College. He presented the inspiring story “I Want to Be the New Yugong”, showcasing courage and responsibility. He also demonstrated the making of the traditional Chinese sweet Dragon’s Beard Candy on stage, using skillful craftsmanship to give the audience a close-up experience of the charm of Chinese intangible cultural heritage.
第2组是来自St Peter’s College的Nicholas Edwards，带来《我在阿德莱德中国城的故事》，诉说自己与中国城的温暖联结，并用单簧管演奏《我爱你中国》，真挚情感打动全场。
The second contestant was Nicholas Edwards from St Peter’s College, who presented “My Story in Adelaide Chinatown”, sharing his heartfelt connection with Chinatown. He also performed “I Love You, China” on the clarinet, moving the audience with his sincere emotions.
第3组选手来自St Peter’s College的Lutanda McLeod，深情讲述《我的中国游学》，分享在中国的难忘见闻，并以单簧管演奏东北民歌《摇篮曲》，旋律温柔动人，尽显音乐功底。
The third contestant was Lutanda McLeod from St Peter’s College, who gave a heartfelt presentation titled “My Study Tour in China”, sharing unforgettable experiences from his time in China. He also performed the Northeastern Chinese folk song “Lullaby” on the clarinet, with a gentle and moving melody that showcased his musical talent.
第4组小朋友是来自Prince Alfred College的Kayden Dean，带来故事《中文学习趣事》，用轻松有趣的分享，讲述自己与中文的奇妙相遇，随后演唱歌曲《孤勇者》，歌声坚定，气场全开。
The fourth contestant was Kayden Dean from Prince Alfred College, who presented “Fun Stories from Learning Chinese”, sharing in a light-hearted and entertaining way his unique journey with the Chinese language. He then performed the song “Lonely Warrior”, delivering a powerful and confident performance that energized the audience.
第5组是来自Pembroke School的Ha Minh Hoang，生动讲述成语故事《磨杵成针》，传递坚持与努力的力量，随后演唱《对面的女孩看过来》，轻松活泼，气氛欢快。
The fifth contestant was Ha Minh Hoang from Pembroke School, who vividly told the Chinese idiom story “Grinding an Iron Pestle into a Needle”, conveying the power of perseverance and hard work. This was followed by a lively performance of the song “Hey, Girl Across the Way”, bringing a cheerful and energetic atmosphere to the stage.
第6组是来自Plympton International College的Maria Escobar Ramos，演绎经典故事《孔融让梨》，传递中华传统美德，紧接着用小提琴演奏《月亮代表我的心》，琴声悠扬，浪漫满场。
The sixth contestant was Maria Escobar Ramos from Plympton International College, who performed the classic story “Kong Rong Giving Away the Pears”, sharing the traditional Chinese virtue of respect and humility. She then played “The Moon Represents My Heart” on the violin, filling the venue with a graceful and romantic melody.
参赛选手们表演结束后，等待记分期间，是VIP嘉宾致辞时间。
中国驻阿德莱德总领馆副总领事陈刚先生肯定了南澳首次中学组汉语桥的圆满举办，称赞孩子们展现出的中文水平与文化热爱，鼓励大家继续以语言为桥，做中澳友好的小使者。
After all contestants had completed their performances and while the scores were being counted, it was time for speeches from the VIP guests.
Mr. Chen Gang, Deputy Consul-General of the Chinese Consulate-General in Adelaide, praised the successful inaugural Chinese Bridge competition for secondary school students in South Australia. He commended the students for their Chinese language skills and enthusiasm for Chinese culture, and encouraged them to continue using language as a bridge to become young ambassadors of friendship between China and Australia.
随后，阿德莱德动物园园长Chad Crittle 先生、南澳多元文化委员会代表Ms Becky Houston也纷纷送上祝福，为孩子们的自信表现点赞，期待汉语桥持续搭建文化交流的平台。
Following this, Mr. Chad Crittle, Director of Adelaide Zoo, and Ms. Becky Houston, representative of the South Australian Multicultural Commission, also shared their congratulations. They praised the students for their confident performances and expressed their hope that Chinese Bridge would continue to serve as a platform for cultural exchange.
